She is a shadow of what she used to be, the traces of her grandeur echo in the shifting light.

Music plays, we dance and sing, die and weep.

Bound to her, I drift in the shadows, longing for the past


Keep on writing.

  1. Is this personification of the house? I like the idea of the spirit of the house tied to the actual house, while longing for what it used to be, the people who used to live there. Great tale. ❤
