For me horror is getting well into my writing without having reached a conclusion and not knowing where i am going to take the story line from there without altering what I have already written. I think that is the definition of writer’s block. I have to take a couple of steps back and think about my story and the horror disapates some times slowly but it eventually totally vaporizes. And then my horror turns glee. Most of the time my story ends up in places I never dreamed of at the get go and that really surprises me at how well it concluded.

There is magic when the story decides where it wants to end. I don’t think of it as horror, but rather just a step in the process. I trust the process and expect that everything will turn out well.
