Well if it is good enough for Hemingway, who am I to argue? Pardon me while I go and lock myself in my… eh, I don’t have an office. The cat is laying on my keyboard, yawning. She doesn’t know Hemingway and unless it involves a can of tasty treats, she isn’t moving.
Hemingway must have drunk coffee. Right? I mean when he wasn’t, well, drunk? Where are my keys? No one will bother me at the coffee shop. If I purchase a cup, I can sit in the corner, staring at my screen and type away.
What does your “office” look like?

My office is the family room couch… seat closest to the window.

Great post! I have a comfortable lounge chair next to a small end table with a soft light that I use for writing early in the morning or late at night when my wife is asleep and the rest of the house is dark and quiet. It’s easier to hear my Muse and the Universe whispering to me that way!!! I just need to find a way to get my Muse to “Commit” to a regular schedule!!! LOL! You might want to try a back table at a bar too.
Bravo!!!

The lounge chair sounds wonderful. I have written at many unlikely places, but I haven’t tired a bar yet. As long as they have WiFi, power and a steady stream of whiskey, it might be just the spot I am looking for. 😊

Ha! I was thinking more of Ginger Ale but hey, if you are a Hemingway fan whiskey sounds right. I write to Word and then Copy over. A little more work but I like redunancy. LOL! Yes, I love the chair. I can recline it back close my eyes and write what I see.

That is funny. I do the same. I have lost work too many times to take chances. Sounds like your chair might also offer a pleasant to nap. 😉❤
