April Fools’ Day is one of my least favorite annual observances. With its exact origins shrouded in conjecture and mystery, we have practiced it in some form or another for several centuries. It appears I am not alone in my distaste for the custom as some corporations have recently banned April Fools’ Day pranks. Given that previous “pranks” have sometimes earned companies less than funny fallout, perhaps discretion is advised.
Today I will proceed with caution, question the validity of ridiculous comments and wait for the nonsense to pass. It would appear Mark Twain is right. Today just like any other day.
Happy April Fools’ Day!

I woke my kids up this morning at the regular time but told them it was two hours later because it snowed last night. My son told me I was stupid. Might be my last attempt at april fooling.

Great attempt. But sounds like your son has gotten wise to your pranks. Hope you have a great day.

none at all! it is really not our culture, or rather we are too busy to notice! this month is a solemn month, Lent and also observing the Chinese All Souls Day prayers, so not suitable for pranks.
