It’s cold, windy, and we have ice-covered snow on the ground. But at least the sun is shining. I’m guessing it won’t last long since the forecast calls for more snow. Temperatures for the last few weeks have barely broken the freezing mark, and with brutal overnight lows, I am more than happy to snuggle under my down comforter.
We set the inside daytime temperature to 65F (18C). While it can be chilly, it is warmer than my childhood home, where, in the winter months, it was not uncommon to see your breath and ice formed on the windowpanes.
When it is time to write, I plug in my personal space heater and don my fingerless gloves. I also thank the technological wizards who invented an office chair with a heated seat. I really have no excuse for not writing.
Did you write yesterday? Are you writing today?
