Alexi mastered his craft, working diligently, he painted every day.

Prints of work by Van Gogh, Ruben, and Klimt sold better than any of his original pieces.

Despite the hardship and the obscurity, he refused to listen to his family and friends, confident that in the end, everyone would remember him.

  1. Nice! Despite of what others say sometimes you have to pursue your dreams. And it’s important to have role models to look up to, like the other painters in Alexi’s case. 🙂

    • Exactly. Van Gogh was not a commercial success in his lifetime. Klimt’s work was highly controversial. Rubens fought against the prevailing idea that courtiers should not use their hands in manual work. Glad you liked the story.
