So, was last week exciting, fun, exhilarating? And now this week is a slog? Its kind of like boot camp. It is all fun and games at first and then, well, then it is not. The only way to get the word count is to keep writing. We must listen to Jean-Luc and make it so.
How are you managing this week?

the middle of any project is always a slump, not a good week for me as work doubled and magazine articles were due, but will make up on this weekend (hopefully!)

You will manage, I am sure of it. π

For me, today feels like a Monday (as I had the actual Monday off from work) so it’s definitely taking a little extra effort to focus! Hope you’re having a lovely week yourself though, Jo!

Due to busy circumstances, I write mostly while at work – a public library computer center. On a slow night I can knock out several bits of micro or flash fiction, or a short poem. I also wrote and edited a 17,000 word novella over a period of about six months. I guess writing on the job makes me a “paid” writer! π

LOL Love that you are a “paid” writer. Great example of making it work. When something in really important to you, you carve out the time you can to make progress. No one is going to stand in your way my friend and hopefully you will soon become a paid writer. πβ€
