2019 Daily Writing Challenge January 21

Today Is Day 21 of the 2019 Daily Writing Challenge.

Did you write yesterday? Let us know your Day 20 word count in the comments.

What is the 2019 Daily Writing Challenge? It is simple: Write something every day.

Write a little, write a lot. Just write. You have all day.

It doesn’t matter if you write 5 words, 5,000 words or something in between. The idea is to establish a daily writing habit. If you miss a day, don’t worry. Write today and report tomorrow on your success.

A great journey begins with one step. A great writing habit begins with one word. Go!

Check back tomorrow for the Day 21 Report and let us know how you did.

Keep on writing.

  1. Yes, I wrote yesterday. I set a January goal of writing between 2-4 hours every day. As I’m working on a second draft, it’s still shaping up in terms of structure and character arc so counting words doesn’t really help me at this point but the deadline for time does. It pushes me. 🙂

How did you do with your writing today, Jo???

    • Hey Kate, Glad you got your writing hours in. I break my time into components, actual Writing Sessions where I track word count, and Editing Hours which is time based. Yesterday was crazy schedule wise, but I wrote 400+ words and spent an hour in Editing mode. Thanks for asking. ✨😊✨
